Ingredients
Let's get cutting those fruits!
1 cup Strawberries
6 Oranges
1/2 cup sweetened cranberries
4 Bananas, cut to 1/2 inch pieces
2 Apples, diced
Grapes, cut in halves
Pitted dates, cut to pieces
1/2 cup Blueberries
Lemon peal, tiny pieces
Mango, cut to pieces
In a serving bowl, put the fruits as follows:
Peal and cut 2 oranges to 1/2 inch pieces.
The other 4 oranges are meant for the juice of the fruit bowl, so just cut them in halves and squeeze them to the bowl.
Add the bananas, grapes, mango, apples, blueberries, dates and cranberries.
Now add tiny pieces of lemon zest.. these will add so much flavor and deepen the rich taste.
Add sugar & just enough water to get the fruits a bit soaked, but not 'swimming'.
For a better taste, let the fruit salad 'sit' in the fridge for a couple of hours. That way the cranberries and dates will absorb fluids and the juice of the salad will get all the fruit flavors (instead of having a watery taste).
